A Recipe for Salsa

Good Day to you and you and you, too!  We are salsa lovin' people here in this red cottage on the corner.  In fact, a salsa garden is part of the vegetable garden plan for this year. I'm thinking tomatoes, red peppers, green peppers, yellow peppers, onions, cilantro, and maybe a jalapeno pepper, too. Recently I discovered a new salsa recipe and boy is it yummy!

  Tomato & Avocado Salsa

Team the salsa with your favorite tortilla chips for a fresh treat or use on tacos and it's super good with fish tacos!

*The recipe comes from the cookbook Eating Well serves two by Jim Romanoff.

  1. This sounds like a salad I make during the summer...all those ingredients and throw in oven roasted corn kernals and a chopped up mango. Now I"m getting hungry :)

  2. I think it would make a wonderful salad and I can think of few more additions I'll be trying...garlic for one and maybe a bit of crumbly cheese.

  4. Now doesn't that look just yummy! And only 9 calories per tablespoon! Isn't there a some sort of unofficial law that good looking food is fattening?
