Sunday Best

I'm joining Your Sunday Best this morning over at A Rural Journal. The link party invites photographers to share the best photo of the week.  I admit, I've been lax about posting so far this year and two posts a week is all I've been managing making my weekly photo stash a bit meager.  Oh well...  here's my favorite for this last week...

I took over 50 photos of the vintage alarm clock that ticks so loud it keeps you awake and worrying about getting up on time isn't an issue, but staying awake all day is!  What's the most photos you've ever taken of one object? I'm ever so curious...

Take Sunday stroll to A Rural Journey and find more weekly favorites.

I hope you turned your clocks back!

  1. This is a lovely image! I know I've probably taken over fifty shots just to get one good one. That's why I love digital photography.

  2. Last summer, we had a group of hummingbirds at the feeder and I believe I took over 500 shots. Lol.

This is a lovely still life. I know what you mean about those old alarms clocks! :)

Thanks for sharing at Your Sunday Best. :)

  4. Dear Teresa, Well, it was certainly worth the effort -- beautiful! I have to follow your example and take more shots ... about 10 is usually my limit. P. x

  5. I love that shot. It really is beautiful. I hate to admit it, but I can take hundreds of shots in one afternoon when I'm out with the animals in the barnyard.
