The little darling rose courageously bloomed into November and it's the first rose to flower this spring. A diminutive bloom it barely reaches one inch across, but in that wee width pink petals circle about the center with grace and beauty.
Is it a fairy rose or a miniature with an unknown name?
Whatever the variety, it's brought so much pleasure since we moved here nearly nine months ago and gave me reason to ponder courage each time I see it.

Oh, pretty! I love the soft colors. I love roses. Roses and Jasmine I just can't get enough of. I've been wanting to plant some little moss roses in our garden, but common sense tells me it'll bloom a short time before our summer heat massacres the little beauties. (Well, either the heat or our new 'gardening dog' that thinks everything is a weed to play with).

It is a pretty little pink rose. I can see why you like it so. Nice work with Kim's textures. I always remove the texture on my flowers too.
