I used two different textures created by Kim Klassen. The first layer, added after cropping, was Look-Up. I faded it a bit. The last layer, Pour Vous, was also faded. The photo was taken in my light box. I picked up poster board and cut it to size for the background and what a difference it makes. Definitely smoother.
