    1. Thank you, Buttons! As much as I adore cities, I find quiet places, like rural areas and the edge of the ocean, allow me time to contemplate and consider.

    1. Nancy...I'm honored to be a small part of Rural Thursday and even more...I'm proud to have grown up and lived most of my life in rural areas. I agree, beautiful old buildings make me sad, but I see so much beauty in the decay that I can't look away.

  4. Thanks for visiting the Cottage on the Corner. I'm with you...I love old barns and everything they hold within their sometimes dilapidated walls.

  6. Your frist image looks like a painting. Very nice texture work. I really like the roof on the second image. The circular tiles are quite unique and the mixed colors are pretty in combination with the red brick.
This is certainly the time of year for berry picking. I hope to get some strawberries at a local farm this weekend. Enjoy your weekend Teresa!

  9. The roof on that home is stunning. I love the tiles. The roof of the barn is the style I like, too. Ours is nambe tam by, but it works. This is certainly a lovely spread to own. genie
